Getting Married

I am 22yrs. old and a woman. Am I considered an old maid? Why do people always ask and say: "Are you married or dating anyone?" "No." "Oh, well thats okay. Don't be sad." Guess what? I'm not, I'M 22!!!HELLO!!! My grandmother who is 97 got married at the age of 39 and had my mother, her only child as the age of 41. Why, of all people, is she telling me that I need to get married? I definentley want to be married someday, but I don't believe anytime soon. I have a lot of older frineds and cousines now in their 30's, amrried for 10+ years and regretting missing out on their 20's. I'm not saying thats how it is for everyone, but I don't want to wake up 10 years later wishing I was single and 10 years younger...Just some food for thought. I think I just want the wedding and honeymoon for now:)

It's like you took the words out of my mouth!!! I mean if we do live to be say 85 and we get married when we are 25 holy crap that is like 60 years with the sssammme person. I am so out on that for right now. People tell me I am selfish and I don't agree like you said I don't want to regret not fully living my twenties. Cause guess what you can't get them back ever!!!
