I'm going nowhere fast!
So...this is my last spring break! Meaning my last semester of school! WHOOO HOO!!! I made a checklist of things i wanted to do/accomplish for my last year of school. One was get my tonsils taken out, check, take a fall break, check check, and another was to take a spring break, because I never had. I wanted to go somewhere where I had to fly, you know a destinations place. Well, I had plans to go to Chicago with the mom. Needless to say that fell through. Then San Francisco with my cousin. That too fell through. Now I'm going nowhere and everyone I know is headed to paradise! I know its jelousy rearing its ugly head at me, but come on! Two of my best frineds are going to the Bahamas! WHAT?!?!?! I want to go! OOOPS too little, too late:( I know I sound like a brat, but ask me if I care? I don't. Oh well....poor Lauren...haha pity party!

I know exactly how you feel!!! We were supposed to be taking our boys to Disney World but found out we're moving back to the east coast in the summer so we decided to not go to Disney just yet. And the best part? Now, we're just going to visit my inlaws for Spring Break!!! At least South Padre Island will be just a short drive away!! Head south, go to the Island, don't forget your bathing set and sunscreen!!!
I'll join your club because I have never gone anywhere for Spring Break & I really want to do something this year. I am closing on a home, so there is no way I can afford a trip right now. So, I'm hoping to at least be able to take a short road trip to Dallas for some shopping. That's as good as it gets for me.
OK really now, you scare me when you say that one of the things that you WANTED to accomplish this year was get your tonsil taken out, man that is a strange thing to put on the top of your list. Now spring break that is a list topper, but not your tonsil.
I am sorry though that your spring break plans fell through, but look at it like this, once you get out of school and get a job you will have vacation time and MONEY to go on a vacation. You will get there girl just not this march.
You should at least try to round a few girls head to Austin. It is only eight hours away and can I tell you, you will have the time of your life on sixth street for spring break. I am serious and it is really not that expensive.
